A question for the Australian Christian Lobby about offensive posters

Take a look at the two posters below and tell me: which poster is more appropriate for kids to see?

As I am no longer a child, my first thought on seeing the ‘lion’ poster was ‘But why should I be scared? The lion’s not real, just like G… ah!’

HT @twinarp, who found the lion poster at Clifton Hill Presbyterian Church, North Fitzroy. Twinarp stands for ‘the world is not a rational place’. Ain’t that the truth.

Update

The lion poster, like many other Australian church posters, was supplied by Outreach Media. I have since taken them soundly to task for their subsequent effort, ‘Want Better Evidence?‘.

The church near the Oxford in Petersham has one of these up at the moment.
